Additionally, in one pharmacokinetic study, ophthalmologic assessments showed a trend of declining visual acuity in the tafenoquine-treated groups (TQ450mg daily × 2 days with and without chloroquine), but the trial was not powered for ophthalmic comparisons between groups [ 34 ].
