Despite difficulties in detecting this protein via immunoblotting, we identified significant elevation of CHOP protein in the cortex of the rNLS8 mice (rNLS-Sal) of approximately 2.1-fold compared to the control (Ctrl-Sal), with a trend for a decrease in CHOP protein in rNLS-ASO mice (approximately 1.6-fold compared to rNLS-Sal mice), although this decrease did not reach statistical significance (Fig. 3D ).
