We observed a significant trend that higher circulating 25(OH)D concentrations were associated with lower risk of all liver outcomes and related mortality (all Q values for trend < 0.05) in Table 5 when investigating the associations between serum 25(OH)D in quartiles and risk of liver disease and related mortality.
