Already, at 10 h, the ZP3 Trim-away embryos were distinguishable from the non Trim-away controls in principal component analysis (PCA), although the differences in gene expression were still on the rise and did not reach statistical significance given the short time available to Trim-away to mount its effect ( Fig. 7a ).
