A trend towards an intravertebral sagittal ratio at C6 of less than 0.5 was detected in horses with C6 malformation, but did not reach statistical significance [ 9 ] These findings may indicate that other malformations or morphological variations of the cervicothoracic junction may be associated with C6/C7 malformation [ 9 ].
