The matched subgroup analysis, where groups were matched on age, sex, and ISS, revealed that being a current smoker had increased odds of presenting as METH+ (Smoking Status: OR = 5.40, P < 0.001 [ Table 3 ]); all other variables did not reach statistical significance ( P > 0.066).
