Although only marginally significant, cortical activation patterns suggest that being irregular about performing a spatial transformation on most trials (altercentric-inconsistent) compared to being irregular about maintaining a non-transformation strategy on most trials (egocentric-inconsistent) could lead to greater activation in the left IFG and left DLPFC (Fig. 5 ).
