Phase III study KEYNOTE‐604 [ 26 ] suggested that, compared with placebo combined with EP regimen, pembrolizumab combined with EP regimen as first‐line treatment for patients with extensive‐stage SCLC can significantly improve the PFS of patients (HR = 0.75, 95% CI: 0.61–0.91, p = 0.0023), and the OS of patients also showed a trend of benefit but did not reach the significance threshold.
