After switching back to a CHO-rich ad libitum diet, we saw a partial loss of the difference in eGFR between the KD and control groups (mean eGFR difference BL-EOT: KD, +5.03 ± 9.45; WF, +0.31 ± 5.02; control, −1.25 ± 9.35 [p = 0.01]; BL to follow-up [FU]: KD, +1.49 ± 10.3; WF, −1.52 ± 6.91; control, −0.74 ± 6.63), and this difference did not reach statistical significance anymore (p = 0.311).
