The 3 studies included in the pooled analysis showed inconsistent results, with Kim study and Yang study showing that although there was a tendency for preoperative ctDNA positivity to be associated with greater tumor recurrence, the results did not reach statistical significance, possibly due to the small sample sizes included in these 2 studies.
