Although the difference in thiosulfate concentrations in the cerebral cortex between wildtype and knockout mice did not reach statistical significance (likely due to small sample size), mean thiosulfate concentration was approx. 3-fold higher in Tst −/− mice compared to WT ( Fig. 1 B).
