On day 28, by flow cytometry, LPS allografts still showed a trend toward increased neutrophils compared with both control groups ( Figure 7C and Supplemental Figure 3B ); this difference was found to be significant when a larger number of day 28 paraffin-embedded samples were analyzed by myeloperoxidase (MPO) immunofluorescence staining ( Figure 7, E–G ).
