Dysthymia was significantly associated with a decrease in 3,4-Dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC) synthesis after adjustment for SSRI use ( Figure 5 , Table S17; β=-0.6, SE = 0.2, P adj = 0.002, FDR adj = 0.03), while a nominally significant association remained after adjustment for any PTD use (Table S18; β=-0.6, SE = 0.2, P adj = 0.002, FDR adj = 0.06).
