In addition to these, it was observed that the histologic grade, which is frequently associated with patient outcomes, showed a trend of increasing hazard ratios but did not reach a statistically significant level in the univariate and multivariate analyses ( Tables III and IV ); this discrepancy may be resolved by further investigation with a larger magnitude of sample size.
