The C allele showed a negative trend for preserved FCP (FCP ≥200 pmol/L) in LADA patients (additive model, OR 1.55, 95% CI 1.01–2.38, P = 0.047), and patients carrying the GG genotype were found to be at markedly less risk for low FCP levels compared with those carrying the C allele (dominant model, OR 1.95, 95% CI 1.08–3.54, P = 0.028).
