Nevertheless, while the exercise effect is generally known to be lower in older adults and severely affected people, the results of this study showed a trend of a quantitatively higher effect in the EG (with higher ages and more severe conditions), which implies that a difference in age and severity did not suppress the effectiveness of the intervention.
