The pooled data revealed that the SSFIOL group showed a trend towards better postoperative final VA values compared with those from the iris claw IOL group; however, the difference was not significant (MD = − 0.06; 95% CI − 0.11 to − 0.00; I2 = 0%, P = 0.05) (Fig. 2 A).
