The association with preeclampsia did not reach statistical significance in multivariable analysis, but severe preeclampsia (including hemolysis, elevated liver enzymes, low platelet count syndrome and eclampsia) remained significantly associated with TBI (AOR, 1.62; 95% CI, 1.03–2.56; P = .036).
