The epicardial adipose tissue measurement, according to the Iacobelli method and the indexed epicardial adipose tissue thickness ( Figure 1 ), both showed a highly significant correlation with the EAT ROS levels ( p -value < 0.001), indicating that greater epicardial adipose tissue thickness is associated with increased oxidative stress in epicardial adipose tissue ( Table 3 ).
