Considering the effect of the inhalation flowrate on the deposition in the different regions inside the nasal cavity, a clear trend is visible for the 5 μm nozzle configuration ( Figure 7 b), which indicates that a significantly higher surface coverage can be obtained in the “nostril”, “inferior turbinate”, and “middle turbinate” regions at a higher inhalation velocity.
