Within the discovery cohort, we found evidence that the epigenetic pathophysiology differentiating BD/SA from BD/non-SA does not also differentiate BD/non-SA from CON, as supported by the strong negative correlation of log2 fold changes and minimal percentage agreement in fold change direction at the nominally significant DMPs.
