Manual gating showed that the percentages of SARS-CoV-2-specific CXCR4 + CXCR5 + CD4 + T cells and CXCR5 + CCR6 + CD4 + T cells were significantly increased, and CXCR4 + CCR6 + CD4 + T cells showed a trend toward higher percentages, in LC compared to R individuals (Fig. 2c ).
