Interestingly, both the time interval from first deflection of the intracardiac atrial signal to the peak of the P-wave and the atrial conduction velocity determined over the two pairs of electrodes of the intracardiac catheter showed a clear trend toward reduction of atrial conduction velocity (Fig. 6 f).
