7 After 100 μM FAC treatment for 24 h, chondrocytes in the FAC group showed a significant trend of ferroptosis, an increase in catabolism, and a decrease in anabolism in chondrocytes. 2.5μM Quercetin pretreatment significantly increased the expression of anti-ferroptosis protein GPX4 (p = 0.0225) and increased the expression of SLC7A11 (p = 0.0884) in chondrocytes after FAC treatment.
