A genome-wide association study for survival from a multi-centre European study identified variants associated with COVID-19 risk of death.

We run a GWAS Cox model, with the first 10 PCs, age, age 2 , sex, period of infection and patient series as covariates and we found one variant (rs117011822) associated with survival at P -value < 5.0 × 10 −8 (genome-wide significance level) and another one (rs7208524) nearly significant ( P -value = 5.19 × 10 −8 ).
