An independent samples t-test indicated that males were higher at all testing points, with the difference in pre-test throwing scores approaching significance, t (45) = 2.0, p = .053, the male post-test throwing score significantly higher than the female post-test throwing score, t (45) = 2.4, p = .022, and the male retention test throwing score significantly higher than the female retention test throwing, t (45) = 2.3, p = .028.
