Logistic regression analysis in a single model, which considered only mother’s fish intake showed that mother’s intake of white fish during pregnancy had a lower risk of allergic diseases (OR: 0.53; 95% CI 0.30–0.94) in their infants, a single model considering only mercury exposure in mothers showed an increased risk of allergic diseases in their infants; however, it did not reach statistical significance (Table 3 ).
