Neuroticism was significantly and positively correlated with both sadness ( r = 0.406, p uncorrected < 0.001) and hopelessness ( r = 0.367, p uncorrected < 0.001) as well as fatigue ( r = 0.364, p uncorrected < 0.001), yet only a weakly significant positive correlation was found for anger ( r = 0.167, p uncorrected = 0.005).
