This is the case also for the auditory space bisection task: despite the cataract-treated participants showed a trend for some improvement in this task over time after surgery even before the training (cf. 22 ; Figure S3 ), the cataract-treated and blind groups exhibited comparable improvement following the training, reaching the performance levels of typically sighted participants.
