We found sorbs1 signals localizing within ECs of the DA and the CV at each developmental stage, and quantification (Additional file 1 : Figure S4, details in the “ Methods ” section) showed a trend for a higher expression in the vein, with a significant difference at 32 hpf (Fig. 4 A).
