As revealed by the Kruksal–Wallis test, NIHSS score showed a trend toward a reduction 24 hours after MT, although non-statistically significant (8.9±7.9 vs. 9.25±7.85; P=0.056), while at discharge NIHSS was significantly lower than at admission (8.65±9.06 vs. 9.25±7.85; P=0.027).
