Although there was a trend of 6× 1:1 t-LTP under complete blockade of GABAergic responses (+PIC/+CGP) toward reduced PPR (before: 2.80 ± 0.29, after: 2.16 ± 0.19), this effect did not reach statistical significance (paired Student’s t test, t (5) = 1.926, p = 0.11), whereas intact GABAergic inhibition (-PIC/-CGP) blocked 6× 1:1 t-LTP and therefore revealed also no changes in PPR (before: 2.08 ± 0.15, after: 2.12 ± 0.18; Figure 6 B left).
