Upon examining the effects of long-term SSA treatment, a significant trend toward decreasing serum gastrin levels was observed before and after treatment, with a decrease from 1081.0 (571.5, 2472.8) pg/mL to 461.5 (255.3, 795.0) pg/mL (Mann–Whitney U test, Z = –3.521, P <0.001) [Figure 3 A].
