Finally, though the associations did not reach statistical significance, fluoroquinolone exposure tended to be associated with an increased number of ARGs and an increased relative abundance of ARGs that confer resistance to several classes of clinically-relevant antibiotics, including beta-lactams, carbapenems, fluoroquinolones, and aminoglycosides.
