IL2 treatment had little effect on increasing the rate of mCherry expression (CD4+ P = 0.991; CD8+ P = 0.999), and IL15 led to an increase in expression rate in CD4 + T cells to 21% and to 40% in CD8 + T cells; however, these changes did not reach statistical significance (CD4 + , P = 0.114, CD8 + , P = 0.234).
