We show a trend towards significance for association between rs76195229 and metformin response in adults from MetGen, the largest meta-analysis evaluating glycemic response to metformin in adults with T2D [ 10 ]. rs76195229 is an intronic variant in the ATRNL1 (attractin like 1) gene on chromo-some 10 and is predicted to be associated with carbohydrate binding.
