Although the replication sample was smaller than the UK Biobank sample and evidence for replication at APBA1 was only nominally significant, these effect sizes were remarkably similar to those observed in UK Biobank (3.05 kg m −2 and 2.08 kg m −2 for BSN and APBA1 , respectively).
