Discussion and conclusions In the present study, although we did not see any significant association between telomere associated single SNPs and the GRS with incident CVD in the crude and adjusted analysis, however, few SNPs and respectively the GRS showed nominally significant association with incident CVD risk in certain CVD risk factors strata.
