In the recovery phase in Wuhan, however, more cycling neighborhoods emerged in suburban areas, and the percentage of ridership in denser areas tends to decrease, which showed a trend toward decentralization and localization ( 33 ). 4 Discussion and applications to further research The onset and persistence of the COVID-19 outbreak have had a profound impact on the daily routines and engagements of Chinese citizens.
