In this study, we found that H1/pORF-Luciferase (H1/pORF-Luc) nanoparticles accumulated in the upper abdomen of BALB/C mice after tail-vein injection; more specifically, they accumulated in the liver, but not in the lungs, heart, spleen, or kidneys ( Figure 4 A), indicating that the systemic administration of H1/pORF-DNA nanoparticles showed a trend of accumulating in the liver.
