However, the specific impact of CD6 seems less relevant on the NFAT pathway: cells that express CD6 tailless mutants are still more activated than those expressing tail-containing CD6, but the differences were less pronounced (ratio between tailless and tail-containing CD6 forms is ∼ 1.5 to 2-fold) and did not reach statistical significance ( P = 0.07) (Fig. 1 h).
