Finally, when comparing RISE in radiosensitive versus radioresistant patients, most radioresistant patients showed a tendency for higher values (Figure 3H ), yet the difference did not reach statistical significance (Figure S2E ). 3.4 RT‐qPCR confirms increased RISE in radioresistant pan‐cancer cell lines The above results suggested that higher RISE equals lower radiosensitivity, which means radioresistant cells are supposed to express higher RISE scores than radiosensitive ones.
