55 A resting-state functional MRI study demonstrated that patients with schizophrenia showed reduced spontaneous activity in the lingual gyrus, left cuneus, left superior temporal gyrus, and right caudate by the fractional amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations, an index of resting-state functional MRI, and these brain regions showed a trend for correlations with PANSS negative and total scores. 56 However, we did not find any correlations between reduced cortical thickness among ketamine users with positive symptoms.
