When we measured adenosine pathway enzymes in the lungs, we found that at baseline, the lungs of aged mice express significantly higher amounts of the EAD producing enzymes CD73 and CD39, while the levels of the EAD degrading enzyme ADA were higher but did not reach statistical significance (Fig S4 ).
