A retrospective study utilizing data from the Japanese Society for Cancer of the Colon and Rectum (JSCCR) reported that OS and relapse-free survival (RFS) of patients with obturator lymph node metastasis were slightly inferior to those with internal iliac lymph node metastasis (OS: HR 3.88, 95% CI 2.89–5.21; RFS: HR 3.15, 95% CI 2.43–4.09), although these differences did not reach statistical significance ( p = 0.095 and 0.075) [ 62 ].
