A significant association between higher frailty scores and higher prevalence of postoperative complications was found (OR 7.65; 95% CI: 2.18–26.82; P=0.001) ( Figure 1 ), whereas the association between higher frailty scores and higher Clavien-Dindo grading did not reach statistical significance (OR 1.90; 95% CI: 0.75–4.83; P=0.18) as well as 30-days mortality (OR 2.54; 95% CI: 0.34–18.82; P=0.36).
