The techniques employed for skull base repair in the obese and non-obese groups were similar, with no apparent inter-group differences in the methods of skull base repair that were employed ( Figure 1 ) The rate of post-operative CSF leak was greater in the obese cohort but this did not reach statistical significance (11/210 (5%) vs . 17/516 (3%), χ 2 = 1.520, p=0.217).
