After 1977 we found a decrease in men (APC − 1.1% [95% CI -2.0 to -0.3]) while the decrease in women that we saw from 1981 to 2020 did not reach statistical significance (APC − 0.7% [95% CI -1.6 to + 0.2]) (Fig. 1 ).
