Compared with non-diabetic cancer patients, lower risk of endometrial cancer specific mortality was observed in patients with T2DM treated with metformin in univariate (HR 0.71, 95% CI 0.58–0.88) analysis, although after adjustment outcome did not reach statistical significance.
