We confirmed previous studies’ findings that use of EFV, RPV, and TDF was associated with an increased risk of cLEE [ 22 , 24 , 28 , 29 , 30 ]; although EFV and RPV did not reach statistical significance after adjusting for region of care, the point estimate remained in the same direction, just losing statistical significance.
